Unfortunately, given the high number of expected contributors, we won’t be able to send proofs to our contributors. However, we do have a team of expert reviewers who will edit the final product for accuracy and image integrity.

Yes! You will need to complete individual submissions for each image. This helps us keep track of each image’s details. If multiple images are being submitted, only one PI release form is required, but it must be uploaded with each individual image submission.

Your image might be edited to improve printing quality, such as touching up

the exposure or vibrancy of the image. The background may also be removed

to make it compatible with the book’s design. However, the integrity, quality,

and accuracy of your image will be maintained.

Currently, we can only accept images from academic or nonprofit institutes (not industry). Anyone who captured or created an image can submit, as long as

credit is given to all parties whom significantly contributed to the image creation and the Principal Investigator (PI) consents to the submission. The

submitter will download the PI release form on the website and attach it the form to the submission.

NO. To avoid any copyright issues, specifically with scientific journals, we can only accept images that have not been previously published.
